THE JYOTHIRLINGA AT VIDYANATH IS SITUATED IN VIDYANATH DHAM AND THERE IS ONLY A SMALL RAILWAY STATION BY NAME VIDYANATH DHAM RLY STATION. The main railway station is Jesidih for all the express trains.  Only train route from Varanasi via Patna is the convenient route. There is one more route via Bodhgaya but, due to Naxal problems the Gaya route is not preferrred by the citizens of the place.

This is the Jyothirlinga that was given to Ravana Bramha by Lord shiva but, Ganesha as a shepard boy has kept the Lingam at this place as Ravana went out for bath.
